Our Sandy Springs lawn care service program consists of seven treatments throughout
the year to control weeds and make your lawn greener, healthier and thicker.
Each program is custom designed for your landscape, specifically for the type
of grass you have. We use top-of-the-line fertilizers and weed controls and
our technicians are all formally trained so they do the job right.

Great company, great service
We fired our previous lawn company (take a guess, its the Big One) because
we didn't notice any difference in our lawn after a full year. We then hired
Arbor-Nomics, and after another year our lawn is really looking great. Most
importantly, they really take the time to educate consumers about lawn care.
While they do upsell extra services like aeration, they only ask once (instead
of calling over and over like the other company)...
The cost of our Sandy Springs lawn care program is determined by the size
of your lawn. There are no written contracts and you can stop service at any
time. Arbor-Nomics provides service calls in between regular applications at
no cost to you for reasons such as recurrent weeds, fertility problems, and
insect problems. Service calls that are an additional charge include fungicide
treatments, grub and mole control, and aeration/seeding.
You can choose to purchase only our lawn care program or you can get 20%
off your first tree and shrub treatment by purchasing our lawn, tree and shrub

There’s More to Us Than You Think
Although all of our customers in Sandy Spring and the Atlanta area know that
we treat their lawns and/or trees and shrubs six times a year, many don’t
know that we offer many additional services, or “add-ons” to our basic
service. Our bi-monthly applications take care of crabgrass and most weeds,
but there are certain types of weeds and sedges (tufted plants that are different
from normal grasses) that require specific herbicides apart from what we normally
apply. Below is a description of our additional services. Please call us Monday–Friday
8:00AM–5:00PM at 770-447-6037, if you would like us to evaluate
your property and provide an estimate for any of these treatments.
Grassy weed treatment
- Nutsedge: These are weeds that resemble grass and are most common in Bermuda
lawns. Our treatment minimizes nutsedge substantially. Three applications
of our product will guarantee nutsedge control for the season.
- Clump grass: This describes properties that have a different type of grass
growing within their primary grass, such as Fescue growing in Bermuda grass.
Two applications of our product will guarantee control for the season.
Flea and tick control
An insecticide treatment that is sprayed on grass and/or wooded areas to control
fleas and ticks. This is offered as a monthly treatment during the warm season.
Fungicide treatment
“Brown patch” and “Dollar spot” are two common, easily
identifiable, fungal diseases here in Georgia. We can treat your lawn with a
fungicide every 21-28 days during the warm season (April–September) so
these diseases don’t become a problem for you.
Fireant control
TopChoice™ by Bayer. Arbor-Nomics can apply this once a year for 12-month
control. It will also have a short-term effect (30-45 days) on fleas, ticks,
and crickets.
Vegetation control
This treatment will help you get rid of kudzu and underbrush; it should also
be used before doing a lawn conversion (sodding your lawn and changing from
one grass to another). We can treat lawns or wooded areas all year long. The
number of applications needed will depend upon the type of vegetation we are
going to treat.
