our technicians are all formally trained so they do the job right.
Detailed service reports
I have been using Arbor-Nomics for several years now. They are very professional.
My technician leaves a note on my door with very detailed notes of what he
did and what I should be aware of or do. They are reasonably priced and very
easy to do business with! I have recommended them to other neighbors and friends.
The cost of our Stone Mountain lawn care program is determined by the size
of your lawn. There are no written contracts and you can stop service at any
time. Arbor-Nomics provides service calls in between regular applications at
no cost to you for reasons such as recurrent weeds, fertility problems, and
insect problems. Service calls that are an additional charge include fungicide
treatments, grub and mole control, and aeration/seeding.
You can choose to purchase only our lawn care program or you can get 20%
off your first tree and shrub treatment by purchasing our lawn, tree and shrub
program. (This offer good only for new Arbor-Nomics customers who have not
had service with us in the past 18 months. Not good with any other offer.) Please
see "Top Notch Tree/Shrub
Care" for more information on our tree and shrub program.
We also offer additional services separate from our basic programs. Please
see "Additional
Services" for more information.

What is the best season to start a lawn treatment service in Stone Mountain?
Believe it or not, November and December is the best time of year to start
a lawn treatment service. It might not make sense to you since now is the time
when most lawns, except fescue, go dormant. But it actually is. Heres
why:
- This last application of the year is the second of four in a row where we
apply a pre-emergent. These four applications provide approximately 75% of
your weed control for the year for your warm season grass. This treatment
helps prevent annual bluegrass, which is an irritating weed in the spring.
Its also a good time to get after those broad-leaved weeds. If you get
control of weeds now, you wont have to worry about them come April.
- This is the time to feed your cool season, fescue, lawn with the nutrients
it needs to flourish. Thats why we spread a high-nitrogen fertilizer.
It gets the roots growing.
- Fertilizer applied to the lawn in late fall is used by the grass plants
to build more roots and to store food for next spring; it does not cause the
foliage to grow any more this season. A side benefit is that the lawn is likely
to stay green longer into the winter months.
- A slow-release fertilizer is applied to your trees and shrubs. Its
designed to feed them over the entire growing season. So dont wait for
spring to start a treatment. And dont stop your lawn treatment either.
Everything were doing now will pay off in a few months.
